Inspiring Memories That Last

In the early 2000’s we started having campers paint a piece of quartz from an old mine nearby. Kids would use the hike to the mine to reflect on what the camp experience had meant to them. Then they would each paint on the stone some symbol of that meaning.

This reflection and anchoring of particular memories is part of what makes an experience impactful. As children move through life, they retain only moments, flashes of memory. Our hope is for Camp Rosalie, and some experience of God, to be rooted deep in the souls of those who join us.

If you want to join this tradition, we can show you the way. To the mine yes, but also to creating experiences of awareness and connection worth remembering.
